Pros
Nice coworkers and nice building.
Cons
In 2023 Sambatek had 3 rounds off layoffs, and every time management says we have gone through this before and survived. That may be true for the bosses and CEO but for the staff it's not helpful. Everyone they've fired this year probably didn't feel like they've survived. After each layoff they saywe are done with cuts then a few months later they cut more people. Recently they cut people in one department while hiring for the same positions in another department. I'm not sure if management knows how bad this makes the company look but most employees think the CEO is only out for himself. Other companies in Minnesota are not having multiple cuts in one year. We're told we're building a good culture but they pivot in random directions based on the news of the day. Sambatek bought a company a year ago while the home office is not growing. Many of us see this as supporting new people at the expense of the old people. Like they want the acquisition to work so badly or owe so much money because of this they'll fire people at the home office to prove what a good purchase they made. The first chance I have to leave I am gone...along with about 75% of the remaining staff that aren't owners.
