A great place to work, though it can be mind numbing at times - Cashier Sam's Club Employee Review

Pros

Great amount of hours (anywhere from 25 to 38 hours per week) Good amount of recognition for doing your job well Management is fair and easy to get along with Flexible with time off/schedule changes as long as it's done plenty of time in advance

Cons

The constant nagging to sell Plus Memberships can get annoying very quickly (as long as they know you're asking, they tend to leave you alone though). Also, being quizzed on your knowledge of the selling script (yes, we have a script we're expected to follow to sell Pluses) is obnoxious and just makes everyone bitter and less likely to actually try

Pros

Good pay, less stressful than many kitchen jobs, guaranteed break times no matter what, good benefits

Cons

Communicating with managers is almost impossible. There are too many managers, and they are unaware of what the other ones do. The lead who writes my schedule changes constantly and I get a schedule that doesnt even make sense Ill go a week or more without seeing them (Different shifts they are at another store etc) and when I finally do talk to them they tell me to ignore what the app says. When I do that it dings me on points that affect how much PTO i accrue.
