      Able to work different units and learn more about psychiatric care. Helpful staff. Able to cash out PTO.

      Cons

      Sometimes difficult to get ahold of on-call doctor. 6 am to 6 pm makes finding childcare difficult.

      I loved the level of support I had from my supervisor, and that I could reach out to the treatment team when I needed to.

      Cons

      Jumping into inpatient behavioral health for a practicum comes with a bit of a learning curve to get notes done quickly. Currently, everything is on paper, there is no EHS system, so prepare to hand-write!
