      Pros

      You can feel safe it this company as they will usually offer you switch of department before you are laid off. Salary is not in top of the sector but should be somewhere in the middle. You can ask for some overseas assignments but if you are not Italian you will be offered only locations where Italian don't want to go.

      Cons

      You will often find fossils that are not doing anything nor they know to do anything except slow you down. Sharing of information and knowledge is extremely bad. They will not invest in your training or development at all except you are Italian, of course.

      Pros

      Great responsibility for offshore operations and quay-side mobilizations. Less technical role (no direct engineering performed), but more so, practical experience-driven when executing onsite.

      Cons

      Lots of reading and writing (Purchase Requests>Purchase Orders>Final contracts). Bureaucratic procurement (SAP and Word/Excel heavy) and poor interdepartmental follow-up: you have to do the follow-up when the assigned project inspector and expeditor (POSE) don't follow up on your PO. High workload.
