Pros

- Good salary for an internship (and for full-time employees also from what I've heard, especially the bonus) - Good hours (flexible) - High quality materials even if the software part was a bit lacking

Cons

- Contrary to other companies in the aerospace industry, interns are not considered as employees and are not given a preferential treatment for full-time job application - Production sites are usually located in the middle of nowhere - Reluctance to invest in new technologies : management prefers that consultant invest in the technology (and develop their competences by the same time)

Pros

Many learning opportunities for troubleshooting different types of avian generator control units. Opportunities to work with a variety of engineering departments including production, test, quality, and industrialization. Occasional overtime opportunities.

Cons

High stress due to production deadlines, especially at the end of month. Miscommunications due to constant reprioritizing of needs. Difficult to move from short term (1 year+ only) contracts to full time positions.
