Pros

If you can get in with management and the college football pool you will benefit.

Cons

Initially things went really well, not the best company as far as benefits and the HR is awful, especially relating to privacy. There were plenty of opportunities for growth as the company expanded for the 787. Now they have people in positions they've outgrown and are defensive when informed of this fact. I've informed my management about lack of work and opportunity for growth and was told to apply myself more and given additional busy work, nothing truly challenging to an engineer. 75% of the people at the everett location is a visa holder.

Pros

People are treated very well at Safran. They might not be the highest paying Aerospace company in the USA, but they have great benefits, management, and people. And still, the pay is usually competitive.

Cons

The headquarters are in France and therefore you need to be open to a different culture. Additionally, French and English are used sometimes in communications.

Pros

Many learning opportunities for troubleshooting different types of avian generator control units. Opportunities to work with a variety of engineering departments including production, test, quality, and industrialization. Occasional overtime opportunities.

Cons

High stress due to production deadlines, especially at the end of month. Miscommunications due to constant reprioritizing of needs. Difficult to move from short term (1 year+ only) contracts to full time positions.
