Pros

Supportive and collaborative work culture with helpful team members and managers. Good learning opportunities with exposure to enterprise tools, processes, and real-time projects. Healthy work-life balance and a professional workplace environment. Encourages employee growth through training, certifications, and skill development initiatives.

Cons

Learning opportunities can vary depending on the project, team, and manager. Exposure to advanced or cutting-edge technologies may differ across roles. Structured policies and commitments may feel challenging for some early-career employees. Project allocation timelines can sometimes affect hands-on technical exposure initially.

Pros

People are treated very well at Safran. They might not be the highest paying Aerospace company in the USA, but they have great benefits, management, and people. And still, the pay is usually competitive.

Cons

The headquarters are in France and therefore you need to be open to a different culture. Additionally, French and English are used sometimes in communications.

Many learning opportunities for troubleshooting different types of avian generator control units. Opportunities to work with a variety of engineering departments including production, test, quality, and industrialization. Occasional overtime opportunities.

Cons

High stress due to production deadlines, especially at the end of month. Miscommunications due to constant reprioritizing of needs. Difficult to move from short term (1 year+ only) contracts to full time positions.
