Pros
-Good pay for people right out of college. -Peers are cool if you're knowledgeable of all things nerdy. -Opportunities to get certifications that are paid for.
Cons
-Preface to cons: It might seem like I'm bitter at this company, and I was, but looking back I have had huge success after leaving; your next job will be worth all the silly management hoops you jumped through. -If you didn't go to GSU, (that's southern not state) you will not have any opportunities unless you suck up to management or have a certification they couldn't obtain themselves. -NOC management is basically a few guys walking around trying to justify their job. (They don't do any "work" other than laugh behind closed doors for 3-4 hours a day). -If you EVER say anything negative about management, it will fall on deaf ears. (HR basically non-existent(out-sourced to Insperity)). -There is undeniably a ceiling to this company: the people that are higher up in the chain have been there for years and are comfortable. -Everyone outside of the Support team is not required to keep a time sheet, while their managers sit back relaxing. -Even if you go out of your way for the company, believe me that they will not do the same for you.
