Pros

The team was the best part of working at SAFE 2 SAVE. You were also allowed to handle anything you were passionate about so you could really boost your credentials and resume.

Cons

Unfortunately the “team” culture that was fostered here was created due to the chaos of the work environment. Everyone under the owners was overworked, underpaid, and struggled in the toxic work environment created by upper management. Despite employees leaving one after the other citing the same issues (toxic environment, poor leadership, constantly changing priorities and direction of the company, overworking and underpaying employees, manipulation from owners, disregarding complaints, etc.), none were ever truly addressed. I would not recommend working here or doing business with this poorly run company.

Pros

Investing time into preventing distracted driving crashes has been rewarding. Thankful for leaders and how they empower others. The app works well, it’s a joy to see teens and Employers of all ages get excited about it. In fact, hundreds of people share how this has changed their habits, encouraging them to not “tech” and drive as positive rewards work.

Cons

Smaller companies also mean wearing a few different hats, but that is to be expected.

Pros

Overall mission minded marketing is the main reason anyone works here. The reward is feeling like you are making a difference in culture regarding texting/distracted driving. Team players worked together well and teamwork & creativity of employees was often celebrated.

Cons

Lack of budget. Start ups lack capital which equals lower salary and hourly pay. Oftentimes there is mismanagement and lack of true clarity with a scaleable plan the team can follow. When there is a true plan management has in place, the owners question everything. Constant last minute demands of owner/manager make frustrated employees. ASK lots of questions in the interview. Especially why they have high turnover!!! Also ask why they laid off staff in the fall of 2019 & 2020.
