Pros
I met a few different people that are amazing and are great at their jobs. If anything, this seems like a great stepping stone for very young, entry level employees/interns that need to gain experience in the short-term for resume building.
Cons
It is extremely clicky and feels like you’re back in HS. People look at you as a competitor not a teammate. They are more worried about receiving awards than training employees for the position. They say they want “lots of feedback” but they really don’t want the feedback if it’s not what they want to hear or if they disagree. It’s quite a chaotic place for it being portrayed as lax and easy-going. The executives and top departments are cold and want nothing to do with the small guy. Do not go to HR, they won’t help you and it will be looked down upon. The encouraged and/or mandatory “company gatherings” are excessive, a facade and extremely time consuming and distracting.
