Pros

Get to Travel to Dublin, Fun Colleagues everyone is nice and that's the only good thing which makes it bearable to be in the company

Cons

* Managing Director does not have any value for his word and goes back on his promises he promises you the world and the end you are left with nothing but disappointment * No Corporate card you would be spending from your own pocket and get reimbursed later

Pros

* I was allowed to work with multiple teams and on multiple projects in a relatively short period of time * Very open minded, talented and resourceful CEO who really listened to his leadership team * Great team. The company hires carefully and motivates well * Sheer resilience. Covid was so tough for the events industry. In response this company produced the best remote software event in the world off the bat and with a limited budget. It also created amazing courses and content during this time. And the sheer will to drive through and succeed really shone here. * Respect and kindness. For all the hard work and focus and dedication, these guys get along and make time to connect. * Remote working as it should be - the staff is fully distributed and fully connected. I've no bias between onsite, hybrid, and remote - but I do think that remote requires more thoughtfulness and a lot of operational evolution over time. Saastock excels in this. * The European event hosted in Dublin (that is a big part of the company Saastock) stands out for the standard of the attendees. All the world class events - by definition - have great speakers and partners, and some have great investors. This event has the superb speakers (without the time wasting on celebrities and other BS) and partners, but also has great investors, and particularly stands out for the level of attendees - in this latter category it achieves the highest standard I've seen, and I've worked with many of the biggest tech events in the world and keynoted and/or hosted many of the biggest stages on them multiple times, so I know what I'm talking about.

Cons

At the time, in my opinion, they were not fully aware of the true value of the brand and brand-name 'Saastock'. But that was a brief period and the openness has seen them fully embrace that and avoid trying to bring whole new brand names into the marketplace. Startups are always learning and events is a hard industry, and evolving into a SaaS entity from that space is also hard. To me, the company is a wonderful example of how to be successful in good times, and how to hold the ship together and still evolve in tougher times.
