Despite the massive amount of redundancies we've had (Im lucky to have kept my job) there was lots of hype from my line manager in buildings division and our BA president about business going in the right direction. haven't seen that yet in almost 18 months...
Lot of team leaders lie about results, stab their own teams in the back, and lie about billing ratios, deadlines- toxic atmosphere sticks its head out often.
HR is terrible and seems disinterested in supporting staff. They simply stick their heads in the sand, ignore, override, repeat.
Not a very progressive business, especially in terms of tech, BIM, data, digital, innovation. we had a chief digital officer who seemed to push things forward, not just an ideas guy and talker like we had in my div, but a doer. Of course they made him redundant as well. Since then there's been no progress.
Legal are a nightmare and a big blocker to bids, projects moving along.
Current leadership team talk about things, make lots of promises. they never actually deliver anything useful
