We are aware that due to our intense drive for growth and ability to compete on a global scale, our targets are high. We try our best every day to build an environment for our team to reach their full potential and try to enable them to realize that the targets are in fact achievable if we all work together to get there (and we wouldn't have welcomed you to join us if we didn't think you could do it!).
It's very unfortunate that you feel under-compensated for your hard work with us, but what we really learn here is that you didn't feel comfortable addressing your dissatisfaction with your head of department - and for that we truly apologize.
Having worked with us for over a year, you know that the happiness and satisfaction of our team is a top priority for us, and we provide many avenues for questions (even though ones!) to be asked, suggestions to be made and dissatisfaction to be addressed.
We urge you to come forward and address this and any other issues you might have, and once again we apologize for not making you comfortable enough to address such an important issue with us directly.
Openness and great culture is something we work on daily, and we appreciate you highlighting this issue so we can work on getting better.
