Pros

The people. The work can be interesting.

Cons

There are very few opportunities to progress past a certain point with yearly pay rises being small, and you are often lucky to receive one. No investment in employees. Employees are often told that they do not have the qualifications required to be promoted to a new role, and no training is subsequently provided. No interest in professional registration or supporting charter-ship. The health and safety issues are numerous and poorly dealt with. The apprentice program is treated as cheap labor with very few apprentices making it through the entirety of their training. The turn-over of staff in general is high, as is the average age of employees. The recent pandemic has exposed the company for what it really is, a cash cow for the directors. Putting turning a profit before the safety of employees with no social distancing imposed. Employees can be seen numerous times a day bunched together in the smoking hut. There has been very little in the way of useful cleaning with door handles cleaned maybe once a week in some areas.

Pros

Sadly, there really are no pros. Even the good people have gone. Even their once proud history of excellent Quality has diminished significantly.

Cons

Was once a good little company with some great people. Not perfect but a great 'team'. Now, like stepping back in time. Employee exploitation is rife. Lip service to Health and Safety, zero training and development. Many employees on minimum wage even though profits increase year on year. Trying to promote themselves as a 'technology' company when, in reality, they manufacture and support other peoples products. Don't believe the AI hype.
