- Pay. This is a company that historically underpaid, but is hiring new employees at a much higher rate than the long term employees that helped build the company to what it is. It’s frustrating having been around long enough to see the company grow so much and knowing you should be making a lot more than you are.
- HR’s new policies. The new handbook basically turned took the company and corporatized it. It used to be way more laid back, and things were a lot more fun before the new HR representatives came in.
- Lack of direction. I don’t know where my department or the company is going anymore. There seems to be a large lack of direction and people are thrown around left and right with no rhyme or reason to it.
- Work-life balance. Sometimes there is so much work you feel completely overwhelmed. Other times, you end up sitting and waiting for work. Professional services team is especially bad for this I’ve seen. I know lots of people who work 12+ hours a day across all of the different teams very consistently, and that just seems unreasonable.
