Getting to leave one day

The Owners are absolute animals when it comes to figuring out ways to cheat their employees out of wages. No scruples, and no loyalty. After almost 5 years I called the CEO and said "I haven't been happy for a while". His response was "well, let's make today your last day". Never asked why, because he knew that he was taking money out of people's pockets...
