Pros
Benefits package is good as you'd expect from a large multi-national. Share Schemes, car leasing, discounts, option for private healthcare and annual bonus. Big focus on employee safety and mental health and wellbeing. Flexible working arrangements allow for different working patterns with line management agreement and work is primarily home-based post-COVID.
Cons
Poor management, particularly day to day support for the work and management of the performance related pay process. Very opaque recruitment processes, some people get slotted into new jobs and others have to follow normal interview process. Very sparse feedback on performance received throughout employment. Wages are poor for this role compared with industry standard rate and the benefits package doesn't sufficiently compensate for this. On-going offshore renewables project portfolio is currently looking sparse compared with other developers. Despite pushing for better diversity, the company overwhelmingly employs white males with families.
