Pros

-DoD projects are interesting -Fellow engineers are genuine and for the most part want to do the right thing -Business will continue to grow at the price of employee benefits

Cons

-Could go on and on about unhinged CEO and poor culture, but I highly recommend you read all the CEO responses below to form your own conclusion. -A company of this size and established time with only two C-level employees. If that doesn't make you question upper management it should. -Attrition of employees around the 1-year mark is astonishing.

Good morning. Indeed, our engineering workforce is genuine and productive. If the culture was so bad, I am pretty sure our current 140 engineers would not stick around. Things are pretty good at Solute, actually. We have won 4 new contracts in the last 4 weeks. Our engineers do a great job, and our customers keep expanding our work. Everyone is expected to work hard and do their best. If someone has to be constantly micro-managed just to get them to work an 8 hour day, then it gets a bit tiring for management. Unfortunately, when things don't work out, its best for everyone to move on. I understand when things don't work out that some folks lash out on sites like this. The 140 productive employees usually have better things to do with their time. I encourage you to interview and meet the teammates that you will be working with and form your own opinion. Thanks, John, CEO, SOLUTE, Inc.
