Hired an external team that screwed up website Launched a half-baked version of website that wasn't close to being finished and has caused content managers severe headaches ever since. Fired that external team before having them complete website or explain what they'd done or how things work in our CMS hired another external team that is overwhelmed and doesn't know how to fix it. Meanwhile, they hand out a subjective "performance improvement plan" to one of their top performers because "it's not what we do, it's how we do it" but can't clearly articulate how the plan is objective. Confusing direction given verbally in 1-on-1 meetings, contradictory follow up feedback given in written form. It's a toxic environment when people can't feel psychologically safe or comfortable enough to talk to each other. Instead of people addressing their issues with another party head on, they complained to a supervisor. That doesn't lead to trust, that leads to doubt, fear, contempt, and resentment. not healthy whatsoever, bad attitudes turn what could be a dream job into a nightmare
