Pros

The company is serious about building a good work environment and have successfully done so. They put a lot of effort into hiring people that makes good coworkers, so you will make many friends while working here. The management structure is really flat and relaxed. The higher-ups are never too busy to have a chat with you. The company also provides a lot of perks such as free drinks, free friday lunches and shoulder massages. I heard that some of these perks have been cut, but will be reinstated when the company's financials pick up. The work life balance is excellent with flexible hours and flexible schedule. People sometimes bring their pets and children into the office. The company is highly innovative and receptive of criticism, so you can make an impact even as a junior employee if you have good ideas and skills.

Cons

The department (Frontend or "Client Facing")I was working in lacked technical challenge as well as career progression. Many people I talked to agreed with what I think. The company relies a lot on their proprietary technology, which means you will gain very little transferable skills if you don't actively branch out from your daily tasks. From what I heard they are taking steps to fix this though, so this may not be a problem in a year or two. The pay is average by market standards but there is a yearly salary adjustment.

Pros

-Flexible, truly invested in their employees well being, interesting product with lots of potential. -Global company with very distinct cultures in each location. -They have moved fast and made great strides. -Amazing training program (both professional and personal growth) -Benefits are pretty good. -Most of the top Leadership is approachable and interactive -Great starting place for a recent college graduate. -Standing desks

Cons

Compensation - definitely on the lower end of Silicone Valley, but then they are in Downtown San Jose. C & VP Leadership - poor communication, mixed messages, an overall avoidance for stepping up and doing the hard things, till its too late. Politics: For the size of company, there are a lot of politics and complicated processes, and a general blame game when things go wrong. Promotion and career growth can be pretty limited.
