Pros

Decent work life balance. Good colleagues. Decent benefits outside of pay.

Cons

Poor pay, so much so, they designed a food drive program to help employees, instead of paying people what they’re worth. Poor company direction. Out of touch and lazy management. Too AI driven. Hypocritical policies that aren’t followed by management, but expected to be followed by non-management (work from home policies, in office policies, etc). They dont train you. They give you bare minimum information to start and expect you to just figure it out.

Pros

This may be a good place to start in order to gain experience in the industry at the entry level. Beyond that it should be a stepping stone.

Cons

The Glassdoor numbers say a lot. Only 50% of the people who work here would recommend to a friend or colleague. In school, 70% is 1% away from failure. SHI is 20% below failure. To add, 53% of the people who work here have a negative outlook on the company's future. That seems like a trend in the wrong direction. If your career is an investment in your life, that needs to be considered before investing a career into SHI.
