This was one of the most toxic work environments I’ve ever experienced. Outdated processes, heavy reliance on Excel, and only 10 PTO days made the workload even harder to manage. I had a scheduled surgery, and despite informing leadership, I was still expected to work and pressured to provide extensive proof. I was constantly micromanaged and forced to track my time down to the minute. I wasn’t even doing the work I was hired for. The stress from this role led to worsening health, including high blood pressure. Communication was poor across the board, and there was zero work-life balance. I deeply regret accepting this offer.
