Pros

The work is extremely meaningful. The caregivers 2015 represents are some of the most caring and hard working individuals I have ever met. I received a yearly bonus which was equal to one extra paycheck. My supervisor was great.

Cons

I covered the job of two people for my entire tenure year, which became extremely unsustainable, and ultimately led to me leaving. I heard about a promotion for years. Never got one. Many people, if not most, burn out and don’t receive the necessary support.

Pros

Unions are the backbone for workers, a strong backbone is necessary to stand tall and be respected. Unions are necessary for all workers, being genitorial, clerical, managerial or professional.

Cons

Workers need to get living wages and not poverty minimums. Businesses need to increase worker’s wages, otherwise let them not open their businesses.

Pros

There are no pros in being a member of this union (political organization). They cannot even represent you in workplace disputes.

Cons

Local 2015 is incompetent and corrupt. We make less than fast food workers. Next door in Ventura County, their union got them $1.65/hr more than Local 2015 got LA County caregivers.Local 2015 collected 93.5 million in dues in 2022. 33.2 million of that went to their HQ in Washington DC. to support it's massive political and social agenda. 3.7 million was spent on politics and lobbying. 1.8 million was given to ideological organizations. 1.9 million was spent on airfare, hotels and travel, including $400,000 spent at a luxury Hilton Hotel in San Jose. 1.6 million was spent on private lawyers an consultants.$371,000 was spent on catering. 77 of their 398 union officers were paid 6 figures, including $248,000 for Arnulfo De La Cruz. They also accumulated 116 million in spare cash. What's missing here? Members dues being spent on members... That's what. They are a far left political slush fund pretending to be a labor union. When you try to opt out, they pull every dirty trick in the book to keep charging you dues. When I opted out, they informed me I would have to continue paying dues and political contributions for another year.
