Pros

Some nice people pass through the company. Decent products.

Cons

Dysfunctional working environment creates high turnover. Low employee morale. No training. Secretive work environment. Colleagues quit and senior management does not inform staff. Hiring occurs in a vacuum. Our office is cut off from communicating with the parent company SDL under the guise of security. Staff believe it is to keep corporate SDL in the dark about extreme dysfunction, unprofessional leadership and shenanigans. Staff have no access to SDL training resources or mentoring and mentoring. Staff work in constant fear of retaliation from senior management for perceived slights or senior management being in a crappy mood and needing a dog to kick.

Thank you for your comment. We are committed to creating an exceptional work place environment and continue to devote the time and resources to make this happen. There are certain US Government laws that govern our ability to communicate with our parent company. I am sorry if this was not fully communicated and there was a lack of training when you were hired. We continue to work exceptionally hard and invested resources to create infrastructure in our “start-up” environment with the hopes of making our environment the very best it can be. We are not perfect but we try to improve every day.

Great company to work for. I have been here 3 1/2 years and we have been through many challenges but it has all been worth it.

Cons

Many challenges to overcome being a small business

Pros

There are many great things about this company from the technology, to the customers to the commitment by the staff to create innovative solutions. What I truly appreciate is the emphasis on creating more than just a place to work, but an innovative community where new thoughts and ideas are encouraged and respected. The leadership team, and especially Danny Rajan the CEO, works hard to create an open environment of communication and respect at all levels of the organization. What I particularly like about Danny is his willingness to foster new ways of thinking. It's a great place to work, and its growing.

Cons

We have many single points of failure.
