Pros
SCS shares its end of the year profits through an ESOP on an annual distribution to every full time employee based on a percentage of their salary, as opposed to sending it to shareholders, so that is very nice. The work environment here is very nice, and from personal experience, they do value the health and safety of their employees. There also does not appear to be the heaviest emphasis on chargeability and profitability, but rather an emphasis on client success, which feels very nice to put client goals first and see continued repeat work from happy clients. They also have a student loan repayment program, which does not cover all student debt, but it does pay up to $10,000 over several years which can help a bit.
Cons
The wages are average at best. Bonuses for anyone who is not salary are negligible. The 401K match is up to $1000 match which is relatively low. The healthcare benefits are not great and most opt in to using the HSA system they have as opposed to a full coverage system which is very pricy. It is not the easiest company to move up in, as they do tend to hire out at high positions.
