Pros
As I understand, it was through Nepotism ( a well-connected high school friend that gave him good connections) that the CEO was able to secure a couple of good clients
Cons
This is the most unstructured, ego-driven, toxic work environment where it pays to play in the boys club. Women are treated like glorified secretaries, creatives are intimidated into submission, and hot-headed bullies are promoted for their "creativity." Working here is akin to a down-spiraling alcoholic's bender in Vegas, and although figurative, it's pretty close to literal, too. If the Microsoft client knew the underpinnings of how the CEO/CCO treat the staff, they'd be shocked and pull out their business. The alcohol-fueled creative leadership has terrible management skills and will run unnecessary fire drills, completely shift direction on projects the client has already approved, will make inappropriate comments regularly. There's no work-life balance.
