We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts and we're glad to read that you have enjoyed career development opportunities at SCJ. Regarding salary, please know that our Total Rewards team consistently benchmarks our salary and benefits packages to ensure we’re aligned with markets and industry. We believe SCJ is stronger as a team when we can work together in-person. Related to development and performance ratings, we have a robust performance management process that includes an annual cycle of setting goals, frequent communications with managers to track progress, performance discussions against individual development plans, mid-year and end-year review against goals and more. We encourage consistent communication between managers and their team members to ensure clarity in how performance is tracked and trending throughout the year.

Pros

The company does have decent benefits for a basic plan. They also give you holiday time off with plenty days you can use without using your accrued time.

Cons

HR absolutely answers no questions you may have about the hiring process and any questions regarding the job itself to say the least. HR also refuses to hire employees who are potentially great candidates for the job. Management and upper management play a big part in who they hire. They are hiring favorites, not employees who have a good work ethic. Management on production floor continuously fails to guide employees towards the right direction for employee hire ons and job promotions. As an employee on production floor you have absolutely no chance to grow in this company to say the least.
