Decent pay, decent benefits and easy commute are what kept me here as long as I was. Challenging job. Good co-workers that felt my pain in corporate frustration.
Cons
No work/life balance. 70 hours a week with constant demand for more work to do. Salary was good, but not worth the loss of family time. I asked for a program to better do my job and was met with nothing but "Excel should be enough."

We are disappointed to hear you are unhappy with the training and work life balance. At Rush Enterprises, we are constantly looking to our employees to help us create a better employee experience. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration as we are currently in the process of developing a new training program. This new orientation process allows us to provide a stronger experience for our new employees.
If you like working 24/7/365 you will do great here.
Cons
Upper management is out of touch, using earned PTO is frowned upon, turnover is very high company wide. 401k match is abysmal, PTO is less than market average, no sick time until first anniversary, expensive healthcare premiums.
