Pros
- I've personally grown up my tech skills tremendously after more than 3 years in company. That's because you have a freedom to suggest new things/improvements and try different approaches - and most importantly if you show a value in your idea, you get the space to make it happen. - There are very skilled people in the company from the various fields, always able (and willing!) to help you and share their view or advice. - Work-life balance - you can adjust your working hours, no presure for overtimes/weekends (I'm not saying there are no deadlines ;) ). It's a generally a nice environment to work at with very supportive leaders.
Cons
Maybe I would just say, it's not the right place if you expect someone to give you the exact instructions or steps what to do and then you stick with that until you retire. You have to be able to learn and to adapt. But is that really a negative thing...?
