Pros

Competitive compensation and benefits package.

Cons

Company Culture: The company often operates on a highly individualized basis, with each person managing their own set of clients and tasks. This approach can lead to a sense of isolation, as collaboration and team interaction may be minimal. The culture, at times, appears quite narrow-minded, especially for those who might not fully embrace the established norms. Such an environment complicates the integration process for newcomers and can subtly affect the overall sense of fairness and access to opportunities within the team. Workload Considerations: The sheer volume of tasks and individual client projects can become daunting, highlighting a need for more structured project support. A more organized approach could significantly improve one's ability to manage responsibilities effectively and efficiently. Work-Life Balance: There's a notable expectation for extended hours, dedicated either to client work or required knowledge expansion. This expectation has a tangible impact on personal time, making it challenging to maintain a healthy work-life balance. As noted in other reviews - if you want a "9-5" this IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. Team Dynamics: The observable high turnover rate signals potential areas within the company culture or operational strategies that could be refined for enhanced stability. This turnover influences the team's cohesion and the company's overall atmosphere. Onboarding Process: The intensity of the onboarding experience, marked by immediate and significant responsibilities, can be overwhelming for newcomers. A more guided and less demanding introduction to the company's processes could aid in a smoother transition. It's noteworthy that employees who have been with the company longer did not undergo the same rigorous onboarding process that newer employees face. Leadership and Management: There is a clear opportunity for leadership to offer more direct guidance and support. The addition of roles specifically aimed at project management could alleviate some of the workload pressures, fostering a more balanced and efficiently organized work environment.

Pros

Working with a team of very smart people, you get to learn a ton and start digging into your own areas of cybersecurity interest. You are working with some great clients who care about your recommendations and you get to see real progress being made. There are fun events where you get to hang out with co-workers (friends) outside of work, including ski days, camping, or just going to the local axe throwing facility.

Cons

There is quite a bit of work to do, and there is no hand holding. Some would consider this a bad thing, and if you do, you might look elsewhere. I don't consider this a bad thing, but Glassdoor requires a "Con" ;-)
