Excellent school, wonderful, working conditions - Science Teacher Ruffing Montessori School Employee Review

Coming from pubic school to Ruffing, I found that there aren't any slackers on staff at this school. Everyone is focused on the mission of providing the best education possible. Students leave 8th grade ready to thrive at public, parochial, and independent schools. Teachers cooperate well with each other and administration is fair and supportive. Students and families seem genuinely appreciative of the school. Salary and benefits are more than competitive with other independent schools.

Not much to say in this regard. Sometimes people at Ruffing are a little too self-congratulatory for my taste.

Ruffing Montessori School is staffed with professionals passionate about teaching and Montessori pedagogy. Supportive and flexible on personal and professional matters.

Passionate professionals can be their worst enemies - long meetings are not unusual. There are quite a few evening commitments at each teaching level.
