Pros

Great benefits, especially at the buyer level and above. A lot of emphasis on properly equipping merchants with the tools they will need to succeed. Pretty good compensation at buyer level and above, otherwise in line. Egalitarian fashion, meaning you will not be judged by how you look or what you wear. The overall culture is pretty friendly. The company is stable and growing.

Cons

The organization is very big. There are so many titles and levels of management to go through it becomes cumbersome at times to get things done. There are a lot of meetings, a lot of bureaucracy. There is little room for creativity, and individual thinking/opinion is not encouraged, rather punished. Just depends on what you are willing to put up with.

Pros

All of my coworkers were wonderful. No high school drama. Boss was flexible and understanding, although he always liked it if you said you could work more hours. The employee discount is pretty awesome. The work wasn't bad and rude customers were rare.

Cons

There was pressure to come in even when you were sick. Pay wasn't the greatest; it usually stayed ahead of minimum wage, but by no means kept up with inflation. Visits from corporate often meant a new change in procedures that had been working and demands that were somewhat unreasonable given the constraints of the layout or number of employees available.
