Pros
Good middle managers. A lot of smart co-workers to learn from.
Cons
While Rockstar has not had layoffs, once the other companies started laying off employees Rockstar slowly became less employee friendly as the labor market has shifted towards employers holding the power. They are strictly enforcing a mandatory 3 day in office but I would not be surprised if they eventually have people come in 5 days a week again. It is not unique to Rockstar but they talk about all the benefits they offer employees when in reality a lot of the benefits are mainly things that look good on paper but aren't really used much by the employees. As they get closer to the release of the next title they have mentioned I'm sure the work life balance will suffer a lot even though they have been hiring to avoid that I'm sure it's unavoidable especially if they announce a release date. The funny thing about forcing people into the office is that some employees wouldn't even work with people in their office so it's pretty pointless but it seems Rockstar has went with the all or nothing approach to return to office.
