Pros
-Generally awesome, young, and very experienced team on the design and manufacture side. -A great environment for learning from the best and developing the ability to excel in ever-changing fast-paced design spaces. -Just about the grandest mechanical engineering project going on in New Zealand and plenty of opportunity in the near future to be involved on the US side.
Cons
-For the caliber of work and extensive unpaid overtime required to meet tight deadlines, pay as a junior can leave you feeling taken advantage of when talking with peers in similar industries with other companies. -Yearly performance reviews mean that you'll likely take on more responsibility than what's detailed in your role and not be compensated for it until the cycle comes around. -High susceptibility for burn-out if you are not truly passionate for the work you are doing, maintaining a work-life balance can be near impossible during the many crunch periods.
