Pros
Great people, great product, great environment. I can't say this enough. Everyone I work with is smart, interesting, fun, and motivated. We all rally around goals, and we all like to help each other out. I work with a great team, and everyone from every team is just as great. It's been many years, and I still look forward to my emails when switching on my laptop first thing each morning. I look forward to company meetings where I can see other faces, and I miss having an office community.
Cons
Covid, growing pains, a gamble that didn't pan out too well. Roadmunk grew from a small company to a medium sized one incredibly quickly, and ran into some struggles as many people felt that company values no longer reflected our practice. Covid was pretty painful and a lot of people were laid off as a result. The company had to change the way it operated and different roles were required as a result. There was a gamble on a big feature that didn't pay off in the end. In a way, it actually served as a bit of a rallying call to everyone else reminding the team to prioritise properly in future.
