Pros

* Weekly Pay *Paid time off *Very understanding for call outs for medical reasons *Room for growth and trainings to becoming an RBT *Work for Various school districts you get to learn the ins and outs and how each school operates and its districts *being as an on call sub gives you flexibility with schedule *Assistance from the BCBAS is awesome they give you feedback on how you can improve your rapport with students *Variety of work experience and locations *Case consultants are very understanding there to clarify any questions you may have

Cons

the cons really just comes with the fieldwork each school district has their own administration and therefore you have to adjust accordingly I'd say its just hard coming in from a "third party employer" there is a stigma that floats in school districts because we are from an agency they see you as underqualified down from teachers to other staff however not most schools are like this, I'd say just let your work speak for itself be respectful and do your work professionally with the students most districts prefer their own employees (I'd say research ed-code for each school district) introduce yourself to school staff and be respectful each teacher runs their class differently. Stick to your student, offer assistance wherever needed you are extra evaluated because you are working for Rohealth, also if you have a set case with a student it is subject to change the school district may go with another agency or replace you with their own Paraprofessional also your Rohealth supervisor is not the staffing consultants who handle your case assignments it is the BCBAS assigned to your case if you need a reference you would have to ask them or perhaps the teachers but that is a gray area because the admin and staff will refer you back to our company Rohealth You will handle a variety of cases with students each differ from the next there is a range of severity of cases not one will be like the other If you do happen to lose a case while on a permanent one there is an unknown waiting period for another permanent case to open you may wait 1-2 weeks or 2 months (depends) on vacancies and type of support needed (not Rohealth doing it changes based on the districts need)
