Pros
Coworkers, upper management (some), free tanning (if you hit a certain sales goal)
Cons
They never hire employees who stay, probably because they get so fed up with making minimum wage with ZERO opportunities for a raise. If you ask, you will be ignored. They may bump you up to manager but even then, you’re not making what a manager should at hourly. You work alone CONSTANTLY so it gets stressful and makes you dread coming to work. All they care about is how much money you make for the company, not you as an employee. As a manager, they expect you to be checking on the store constantly so even on days off, you are mentally still at work. You never get a break with this place. People call in ALL the time so you’re always stuck covering somebodies shift even if it’s your one day off a week. They tell you with commission you’ll be making your own checks, but commission is only 3% of your sales so it barely impacts your paycheck, then is taken all out for taxes. They pay minimum wage and expect their employees to clean, check people in, laundry, clean some more, make sales, be here constantly, and get upset with employees halfway do everything. Nobody wants to for a minimum wage job that drains you mentally and physically. Working here, my mental health has gone right down the drain. I can’t even count the amount of times I have had a genuine breakdown/panic attacks just because of how stressed/overworked I have been. Do not work here.
