Pros
There are a lot of industry experts in the company. Most of the clients are large industrial facilities, and there are several different industries that you could work on projects in. As a mid-level engineer, I have been included in several client meetings and site visits, so the chance to be seen and get noticed is pretty good. The company encourages people to take on work that stretches you technically, so you learn pretty quick. Always seems to be a lot of work in the building.
The offices and buildings are nicely done and modern. They share financial information about projects and the company as a whole with everybody in the company, which is nice. You feel like you are part of the team.
There is a new owner in the last two years who I think is a big improvement over the former corporate owners.
Cons
Most days are pretty fast paced. It sometimes takes a lot of effort to keep up. Because there are so many different clients and industries, you don't always get to focus on your own personal niche.
