Pros

Culture, relationships, mentorship, encouraging atmosphere, better than industry salary, on-boarding denewbification week, 1:1's, campus, free food, benefits, no one is holding your hand... If you make it to Riot you are the best of the best and are fully responsible for contributing at your highest level, well rounded problems to solve

Cons

Located in Los Angeles, high cost of rentals/houses. High salaries don't necessarily mean that you can afford a decent living situation in Santa Monica.

Pros

Passionate co-workers who are all hyper talented, amazing fringe benefits, work/life balance, dedicated managers to help you with your career, and passionate players to serve.

Cons

Egos are rewarded you have to be really good at self promotion, the company is so big that you can feel lost if you don't invest in networking often, layoffs happen at Riot now

Pros

Great benefits, pays well, can work on some very interesting problems.

Cons

Work hours are from 10-7 and hardly anyone actually works that, so stuff can move at a snail pace. Getting help from central teams can be painful, especially if they're way off hours. Some of the culture can get a bit overwhelming too and you can end up feeling pretty lonely if you don't drink the koolaid.
