All-around positive experience with no downsides - Rental Shop Technician Ring Power Employee Review

First off I’ve been in the rental business for a few decades and never ever thought. I’d get the opportunity to work at Ring Power! There has been a few speed bumps mainly because we were hired in the infant stages of really rolling out a standalone rental department. However, anybody with any sense knows that that’s what it takes to end up with a well old machine! After a few years, I still could not imagine working anywhere else!

Having one of our scheduled annual days off as a Veterans Day! Are you kidding me! Who does that? This place is unsurpassed by any other construction rental or retail outlet anywhere! Con’s??? Ha! Ummm… NO!

Clean service shop, huge tool room, annual tool allowance, boot reimbursement, retail store, huge parts warehouse, ToolWeb discounts, great 401k benefits, good pay, on-site CAT certified training department with instructor-led training classes.

Lots of techs and not enough work to spread around, often times throughout the year you will be cleaning floors because there’s no repair jobs. Mostly if not all a younger generation of techs working in the shop which makes for a less mature work environment.
