Thank you for taking the time to review your experience with our company. You’ve said that you’re a former employee; thank you for the time you spent working with Rimkus. We appreciate your contributions. We’re also appreciative that you’ve recognized our exceptional team and opportunities for growth. At Rimkus, we strive to provide team members with a professional and enjoyable work experience by encouraging teamwork and recognizing dedicated employees with competitive pay and benefits. We’re disappointed to hear you experienced ‘little to no collaboration.’ The nature of our business means that no two days at our company are the same; each matter we’re tasked with is unique and may require the comprehensive expertise of several consultants. As such, team members often collaborate to support their coworkers and provide clients with the highest level of service. Some of the most common feedback we receive from both current and former employees indicates appreciation for the collaborative nature of the Rimkus family. Our team of executive leaders has a clear and focused vision for our company’s future. We consider Rimkus to be a family, and our leaders strive to make strategic, informed decisions that will benefit each of our more than 1,400 employees. We conduct regular employee surveys to receive actionable, anonymous feedback, and we hold Town Hall events to address that feedback and communicate directly with employees on matters that affect our global team. Thank you again for taking the time to review your experience with Rimkus and for being a part of our family. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Great work life balance. Pay is generally pretty competitive. Company likes to promote from within. Loyalty is rewarded.

Cons

There is a lot of change happening within the organization and communication around change is lacking.

Pros

They pay bus development managers above average

Cons

I was hired for business development but was set up to fail. I was asked to tell customers we provide full-service engineering in South Florida, even though we didn’t have the staff, no electrical engineer and no Threshold Engineer, needed for the work. Many structural projects in the area require a Threshold Engineer, yet I was told to mislead clients about our capabilities. Immediately after starting, I learned my manager was interviewing. The company operates on a shoestring budget. There is no money to sponsor customer events or trade shows outside the Northeast, where they’ve acquired two engineering firms in the past five years. The BES division is barely surviving, while Forensics is doing well, but overall, lack of resources and poor planning make it very hard to succeed here, especially when your boss is vigorously interviewing to leave.
