Unrealistic goals.
Tons of rules that are mostly unenforced (until something goes wrong, and then the rules come alive - why didn't you follow rule x, and y, and z?).
Only way to meet billable goals is too ignore many rules to save time - otherwise you need to bring sleeping bag.
Work long hours with no OT pay.
Low ethical standards.
Badmouthing of management and others is rampant.
Mucho foul language and 'I'm a tough-guy' talk.
Lots of BS about bonuses that never seem to happen.
Managers in Houston have macho redneck mentality.
Generally not a good place for minorities or women.
Low morale.
