Pros

There was a nice office Opportunity to understand how a small company operates.

Cons

The job spec was misleading when told we could choose when to work from home. Management were very strict on when we had to be in the office. There were various elements of micro managing within the SDR team. Low Pay. The company did a lot of business in the United States which typically meant later working hours (not mentioned in job brief). Ineffective sales process.

Pros

- living and working in Oxon (!) - annual bonus (based on personal and company performance) - new and modern office setting - annual team building trips (is one is into it) - free parking - international group of usually interesting individuals - additional health plan and retirement plan - fruits and biscuits

Cons

- money driven small business (quantity > quality) - very short deadlines resulting in nervous atmosphere in the office - missing, or very limited personal development plan - lack of long-term well defined visible strategic goals - open space office (a.k.a. obligatory participation in all the phone calls) - lack of essential expertise at the management level (technical and interpersonal) - no flexibility of working hours (typical 9-5 job), next to impossible working from home time - very poor internal communication
