Pros

Pay check arrives on time every 2 weeks, well below competitive companies with a ton more work. 401 K Car, but it cost $175 a month & it’s jammed full of equipment

Cons

With almost 20 years on the job I can honestly say I would not recommend this company to anyone. We do the work of 5 Reps & make less than other companies that handle a fraction of our brands. BAT has become a hostile employer, whom does not care one bit for the people who built this company. It truly feels like they hate us in trade & are actively slamming us with unreasonable amounts of work to try to make us quit. I used to love my job & had passion for the business & wanted to win in the market place. No more. BAT has beaten that out of me. All we do everyday is reset the stores we just reset last month, then, reset them again! This company waste so much money on signage & constantly sends more & more it’s unreal. They don’t want to pay us fairly but out spend every other company hands down with constant updated materials. We throw away so much stuff it makes us sick out here. So wasteful & irresponsible. Money, I work for fair compensation however, BAT is a dishonest organization. This year we were told we would get a 2.7% pay increase but, guess what we only received 2%. Further more our sales goals are completely unachievable. I worked my tail off selling Vuse but, because I came in below 90% of my goal I & many others received nothing in that category. I believed in the company & thought they would take care of me. We are told to go faster, do more, work harder. For what? This company is always bragging how much money they make & how sales & profits are more than ever but, find ways to not pay their employees. I live in a State were the average cost of a house is over $650,000 but because I live on the wrong side of a line on a map I make $11,000 less per year than my counter parts. How is this fair? My advice to anyone looking to work here is stay away. All the money stays at the top in this organization. Hey management, I understand you work to increase shareholder value but, how much company stock is held by the little guys? (employees) some of us have been buying for years. How can we own stock in a company that actively mistreats us? Answer, we can’t own a piece of a company we don’t believe in. Maybe this is why the price has been stagnant since BAT took over.

Pros

The Reynolds internship experience is truly unlike anything I have experienced before. The interns are guided every step of the way, but also have the opportunity to get their hands into real-world projects and assignments in the workplace. I have been treated so well by all the staff, there are countless opportunities to participate in organization events outside of office hours, the pay is great, and the gifts (yes, GIFTS) we have received as interns has been awesome. Depending on the department, some interns get a hybrid schedule where you're allowed to work from home on Thursdays and Fridays.

Cons

I can't really speak on any cons. Everything has been amazing. I would say this type of environment would require introverted people to come out of their shell as the workplace is very lively and energetic.

Pros

Company car and free gas

Cons

1. The managerial style of the district manager in Seattle is extremely petty, his reviews make no sense whatsoever, and there is a rampant culture of favoritism going on in his district. 2. The insistence on doing “work withs” for a person with high functioning Autism was absolute torture. Even though reasonable accommodations were requested by me, none were given. 3. The district manager also referred to me as in proper nouns that were derogatory and EXTREMELY offensive to someone with Autism numerous times. 4. The payout of bonuses were also extremely infrequent, even though I qualified for them. 5. Finally during the interview process, one of the biggest selling points that was made to me was a promise of a work life balance with “exemplary pay.” Neither of which came to fruition.
