It is a major corporation, so it is definitely a corporate atmosphere. There is a lot of time spent justifying everything to corporate as well as to clients (for client-owned facilities). This can be very frustrating especially during busy times where you are trying to get your job done, and done well. The jobs here can be intense in that way, where it seems like there is meeting after meeting where you justify and discuss, but not get anything actually accomplished.
There is a major disconnect between corporate and facilities that can be very frustrating. For example, we are currently forced to use one vendor for branded items even though that vendor has shown poor performance and costs more than sourcing locally for branded items. And the only shirt color we can wear for events is black (terrible choice for hot days since most events are outdoors). No wiggle room here from corporate so far, but hoping this will change. You have to fight for what is right with your facility.
Once you get through that, it isn't too bad. The cons listed above can be found at most corporate companies... Reworld overall is a great company to work for.
