Executive Leadership does not value those people, initiatives are put in place to improve employee engagement that are buried by the behaviour of a select few 'original' execs.
Nik controls EVERYTHING - especially items he has no knowledge or expertise in. He consistently undermines senior people's experience, insisting things are done in his way.
He sulks when things are not done how he wants them. Excluding people when it suits him, it's like a school bully at times.
The company is built around yes men that all think and act in the same way...and are all men. For a company that prides itself on innovation this is extremely ironic.
Alan is the same, ignores decisions made and tries to control everything for it to be done how he wants (without fully appreciating the impact and consistently undermining hard work done)
Women are ignored, with men who fit Nik's view on what an A-Player is (Male, STEM degree, consulting background) are given preferential treatment, whereas the females have to consistently fight for everything they have - despite extensive experience and proven track record.
People seem to genuinely be working really hard to improve engagement, but this will not happen while Nik and his right hand men continue to behave how they do.
