Cons
My first point will be about how Reveal Group treats their clients. Firstly, managers have little respect for the clients' time, often treating their clients as if the work being done with Reveal Group is the clients' only work and responsibility. Clients are often, if not always lied to about the amount of hours that Reveal Group consultants are working on client projects, probably leading to clients severely overpaying for Reveal Group's services. Additionally with overpaying, clients are paying for several hours under manager and higher level pay rates, while the Consultants and Sr. Conslultants are the ones doing the actual work.
My second point will be about the hiring process. The interview process includes several rounds of interviews across different management levels, which can take more than a month to complete. During this time, there is also a self guided course and exam on the Blue Prism RPA solution. The scoring of this exam are arbitrary, and the minimum score to pass changes between applicants so there is no way of knowing prior to the grading to know if you have actually passed.
My third point regards Reveal Groups relationship with vendors. There are several cases of Reveal Group taking vendor documentation, etc. and using it internally or towards clients without giving the vendor credit for their work. Vendors' support systems are often bypassed by lower level Reveal Group employees being asked to reach directly out to contacts at the vendor rather than submitting a ticket. This is done because Reveal Group sees their work as being more important than any of the vendors' other partners.
Lastly, about the working conditions of Reveal Group. At the lower Consultant and Sr. Consultant levels, there are a select number of employees that are chosen to be on the majority of projects, causing overwork for a few while there are several other employees that haven't been on a project in weeks/months. There are several issues with management including taking credit for Consultants' work, belittlement, interupting and taking control of meetings, selected promtions based on favoritism, and expecting work to be performed that's above and employees paygrade. There is no good way to report issues with management, and when an issue is raised, it is met with silence or false promises.
This all being said, Reveal Group doesn't have respect or have any sense of responsibility for their employees. The company is being bought out, which has led to a series of layoffs. During each round, employees have only been given a matter of days, without any options for severence or even reimbursing unused PTO. At the beginning of the buyout process, all employees were told that their jobs were safe, which was certainly not the case.
There isn't any justice that will be done for the employees that were used and then thrown away like dirty napkins. This company was built for the owners to line their pockets, and all indications are pointing that the buyout will just further their agenda.
