- Toxic work environment that tries to hide their issues behind the added "benefits." Yes, they have some great perks, but be prepared to have that feel like it is used against you if you feel as though actual business practices are poor.
- Constant restructuring. Most people within the company are unable to tell you what their job title is, as the company has reorganized the org chart approximately once a year.
- HR is ineffective. Most of the HR department feels as though they are covering for an incompetent executive leadership team rather than looking out for the well-being of the employees. Often, HR will listen and then your concerns will not lead to any change.
- Sexism. Without a doubt, a culture of toxic masculinity that is clearly favouring of men to women. Women are often passed up for promotions they deserve while members of the "boys club" get preferential treatment.
- The executive leadership team are completely out of touch. The current leaders of the company missed several critical opportunities to expand their business in legitimate and rapidly growing industries. Instead, they continue to follow rather than lead, which has led to seedier and seedier business practices.
- All the good people have gone. Yes, this may sound like a personal opinion, but every talented or ambitious working within the company has left after their mistreatment. Anyone with true desire to grow and learn quickly realizes that there is no upward progression.
