Pros

The hosts at Relocity are awesome to work with. Everyone’s super supportive, always jumping in to answer questions, help out new hosts, or cover services when someone needs it.

Cons

Working at Relocity can be pretty frustrating, especially when it comes to how management treats the hosts. They constantly say hosts are “the heart of the company,” but honestly, it feels like lip service. They don’t really value our opinions, and when we try to give feedback, it often comes across like they’re being condescending or dismissive. Hosts do the core client work, but are left out of decisions about changes to the software or processes that affect our day to day work. It’s clear they’re not interested in input from the people who actually use the systems every day. They’re also really stingy with raises, and compensation isn’t handled fairly. They only pay for breaks if the state you live in legally requires it, so two people doing the exact same job can get paid differently just based on where they live. It feels unfair and outdated. Workload is inconsistent too; some weeks you're overwhelmed, other times there's barely anything, and that unpredictability has even led to layoffs. If you do get laid off, your healthcare benefits will be cancelled that day. The hosts themselves are awesome and super supportive of each other, but the way management operates makes it hard to feel valued or secure.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re glad to hear your appreciation for our incredible Hosts — we couldn’t agree more that they’re the heart of Relocity and make a real difference for our clients. We recognize that workload can fluctuate depending on client demand and seasonality. We’re diligent during the interview process to ensure candidates understand this variability and what to expect during busier and slower periods. Host feedback has played a key role in shaping improvements, and just within the past few weeks we announced new tools and software enhancements designed to make Hosts’ work easier, more efficient, and better supported. We also want to acknowledge the perspective of someone who dedicated over three years to Relocity. We appreciate the commitment it takes to stay and contribute over time, and feedback from long-term team members is especially valuable as we continue improving communication, inclusion, and support for all Hosts. While regional labor laws can impact pay structure, fairness and consistency remain top priorities. We truly appreciate the dedication and care you brought to your role at Relocity.
