Unethical, shady, and uncaring - Rehab Director Reliant Rehabilitation Employee Review

Pros

I can't really think of any.

Cons

No holiday pay. You are expected to be 90-100+% productive and you are supposed to give management a two week notice if you are expected to have overtime, which is basically impossible. I was a previous DOR for them, and will walk away and never look back. I was also promised a pay out of my PTO, and never received it. They cut salaries each time after the medicare changes. The owner of the company came to my facility three times, and never once shook my hand or spoke with the team. He and I had a conversation and he didn't even introduce himself. Reliant is a great example of how never showing appreciation for your employees burns you. Their turnover rate is unreal! Also, I was never able to take vacation when I wanted. You may accrue a lot of PTO, but they never let you take it. Case and point, I lost 89 hours of PTO! We also had "unit goals" for part B money, and I was encouraged to find any way possible to pick up patients who have not used their cap since the MMR was implemented. Everything in the reviews above is also true. Besides the review from Houston, we all know that one is a fake!

Thank you so much for your kind word. We’re thrilled to hear you’ve had a great experience and appreciate you highlighting our benefits, leadership, and culture. Staffing can definitely be a challenge, and we’re continuing to invest in onboarding by piloting a new 'New HIre Orientation" with plans to roll it out to all locations in 2026. Grateful to have you as part of the Reliant family! - The Reliant Rehabilitation Team

Pros

Not much. Co-workers and my employees were amazing.

Cons

They do not care about you as a person. Absolutely will treat you like a number and will get rid of you with no notice. I never got a raise in the 5 years I was a DOR.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your years of service as a Director of Rehabilitation. We are dissapointed to hear that your experience did not reflect the culture and support we strive to provide for our employees. At Reliant, we recognize that our people are the foundation of our success, and we take concerns regarding leadership, communication, and employee experience seriously. While we cannot comment on individual employment matters, we value all feedback as an opportunity to learn and improve. We are grateful for the dedication you brought to your team and the residents you served throughout your tenure. We wish you continued success in your future endeavors and appreciate you sharing your perspective. - The Reliant Team.
